Creating a blog is very foreign to me. It seems like writing a diary that the whole world is going to see.

    Yah, it's kind of a 'public diary' of sorts for sure. And that 'public' part usually drives what people type(and don't type!) on their blogs. You can also make a blog entirely private and really use it as a diary/journal that only you see. It's pretty convenient and rivals those sweet pink diaries with little locks that you keep under your bed!
